"YOU" is the leading single on the album. A dreamy intimate vocal hosting emotion, depth and highlighting themes of heartbreak in the lyrics. Released on 28th August 2026 (MYE135), "Serotonin" represents who Vibe Chemistry is as an artist, always delivering soulful, heartfelt dance music with meaning that goes beyond the dancefloor, and connects deeply.
‘YOU’ arrives one week before ‘Serotonin’, a new album that brings the latest chapter of Vibe Chemistry’s career into focus. The single points towards a project rooted in emotion, melody and the full range of Drum & Bass, while retaining the accessible songwriting that has carried his music far beyond the genre’s traditional boundaries.
Vibe Chemistry has become one of the UK scene’s most recognisable crossover artists. His Rudimental and Charlotte Plank collaboration ‘Dancing Is Healing’ reached number five on the UK Singles Chart and earned a place on the BBC Radio 1 playlist. His breakthrough single ‘Balling’ reached number 35, spent seven weeks inside the UK Top 40 and topped both the UK Shazam chart and Beatport.
First released as part of his ‘Balling EP’ through DnB Allstars in 2021, the track introduced a much wider audience to his blend of strong vocal hooks, melodic production and bass driven energy. Further releases including ‘Living Like This’ and ‘Baddest’ helped build on that success, while 13 of his tracks have now passed one million streams on Spotify.
His rise has been shaped by an open approach to Drum & Bass. Having drawn inspiration from across the genre since 2012, he continues to move between soulful, melodic and heavier sounds without settling into one fixed lane. That freedom remains a defining part of his catalogue and sits at the heart of both ‘YOU’ and the wider ‘Serotonin’ project.
The release also marks another key moment for Make Your Era, the label founded by Vibe Chemistry to support new voices across Drum & Bass and the wider bass music landscape. With his own album now taking centre stage, the imprint continues to develop around the same principles that have guided his career: individuality, strong songwriting and music built to connect.
